Nokia promises constant updates for their devices and they haven’t failed to do so (yet). One of the latest Nokia devices that receives a new update is the Nokia 7, a China-exclusive handset that despite its country-exclusivity, there are users that managed to get their hands on the handset and that includes Nokia fans from the Philippines.

The new update bumps the Android version number to 8.1 which not brought the specific new enhancements on the latest Android OS but also a lot of Nokia specific features plus the May 2018 Security patch.

Users rocking the handset should receive notifications of the new update anytime beginning today. Nokia enhancements includes: Dual 4G VoLTE support, Face Recognition Unlock, enhanced Do Not Disturb Mode for gaming, added the new Camera Pro mode which first made with Nokia 7 Plus and the Nokia 8 Sirocco and many more..

For users who still haven’t got any notification or whatsoever, you may check for updates manually by going through the Settings menu.
