It didn’t took long before Harley-Davidson resumes production of its first-ever Livewire Electric motorcycle. Few days ago, the company stop their production after it found out a problem within the motorcycle’s charging equipment.

“Temporarily stopping LiveWire production allowed us to confirm that the non-standard condition identified on one motorcycle was a singular occurrence,”

Upon investigation, it was found out that the issue with its charging equipment was limited to one unit they had and all other units are not affected.

Existing Livewire owners can now continue charging their bikes at home. Previously, the company advised all Livewire owners to only charge their units at the company’s professional ChargePoint Chargers but now, that warning has been lifted.
