Google Unveils Pixel 10 Series and Pixel 10 Pro Fold at Made by Google Event

Google recently hosted its Made by Google event in Brooklyn, New York, where it unveiled a lineup of new and improved services, and the 10th-generation Pixel devices with the Pixel 10 series. The series includes the standard Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the new Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

When it comes to design, the Pixel 10 lineup closely resembles its predecessor. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, Google has kept the look refined, and the differences between the Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 are so subtle that you’d need a closer look to tell them apart. After all, why fix what’s already close to perfect?

All Pixel 10 devices ships with the new Google Tensor G5 chip with Titan M2 coprocessor. It runs Android 16 out of the box, with Google promising seven years of OS and security updates.

Google Pixel 10

The Pixel 10 introduces a new 10.8MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, complementing its 48MP primary sensor and 13MP ultrawide camera. On the front, it carries a 10.5MP autofocus selfie camera. However, the primary and ultrawide sensors are considered slight downgrades compared to the Pixel 9, particularly the ultrawide lens. Despite this, Google’s advanced imaging algorithms are expected to deliver a polished photography experience.

Its 6.3-inch Actua display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution, boasting 2,000 nits of peak brightness and protection via Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Security features include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Under the hood, the Pixel 10 is powered by the Google Tensor G5 chip built on a 3nm process by TSMC, alongside the Titan M2 security coprocessor. It comes with 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The device is backed by a 4,970mAh battery with 29W wired charging and 15W Qi2 wireless charging. It’s available in Indigo, Frost, Lemongrass, and Obsidian, starting at $799 (128GB) and $899 (256GB).

Google Pixel 10 Pro and Google Pixel 10 Pro XL

The Pixel 10 Pro features a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL offers a larger 6.8-inch LTPO OLED panel. Both support a 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 3,300 nits of peak brightness, and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Both models retain Google’s proven camera setup, headlined by a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and 100x hybrid zoom. The front camera is a 42MP sensor for high-resolution selfies.

They are powered by the new Tensor G5 chipset and Titan M2 security chip, promising 34% faster performance and 60% faster AI processing. Both devices include 16GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 128GB to 1TB.

The Pixel 10 Pro houses a 4,870mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL packs a 5,200mAh battery with 45W wired and 25W wireless charging, as well as Pixelsnap, Google’s MagSafe-style charging accessory. Both devices are IP68-rated.

Pixel 10 Pro pricing starts at $999 for the 128GB variant, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL starts at $1,199 for the 256GB version. Both come in Moonstone, Jade, Porcelain, and Obsidian.

Pixel 10 Pro Fold

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is Google’s latest foldable, boasting a Tensor G5 chipset for improved performance and AI capabilities, paired with 16GB RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB.

When folded, it features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ LTPO OLED cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits peak brightness. Unfolding it reveals an 8-inch LTPO OLED main screen, also with 3,000 nits peak brightness.

Battery capacity is rated at 5,015mAh, with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. The camera system remains unchanged from its predecessor, including dual 10MP selfie cameras, a 48MP main sensor, a 10.5MP ultrawide lens, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens.

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is Google’s first IP68-rated foldable, marking a milestone in durability. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, and dual SIM (physical + eSIM) support.
