After expanding in Belgium, Uganda and Switzerland, Google finally offers movie purchases and rentals in the Philippines through Google Play Store. Though some movies were priced higher than what we have on the streets, at least it’s one simple way to acquire our favorite movies online legally. There are also movies on the list that’s more affordable and even those that are shown lately in cinemas or sometimes are currently playing in our local movie houses.
If purchasing movies is not your thing, then Google Play also offers movie rentals at a cheaper price. Google grants a 1 month period to start watching your rented movies and 48 hours to finish watching them. Users can even opt to a Standard format rather than the High def format for a much more affordable price.
If TV shows are your favorite, they are currently available only in the US, UK, Australia and Japan. For the Philippines however, Google Play only offers purchase and rental on movies at the moment.
Compare that to what we have on the streets, these movies are in high quality and what’s more about these movies that Google offers… They aren’t pirated so you could enjoy watching them clearly and legally.
