Google launched first Android One devices in India

Google’s recent announcement in India launches an entry-level smartphones under the company’s new initiative Android One. Android One is a partnership between Google and device manufacturers to build devices based on Google controlled reference design and with the same specs that’s capable of running the latest version of its Android operating system.

Coincidentally, the first three devices that made it into the Android One project are devices from India namely: Micromax Canvass V1, Karbonn Sparkle V and Spice Dream UNO. These devices according to our source ranges from 4,500 to 4,650 Php. Known as one of the high-rated Mobile consumer in Asia, the Philippines will also be one of the first in the market to try out the new Android One devices.

In addition to the OEM that manufactured the devices mentioned above, ASUS, Lenovo, Alcatel and Acer are just a few of the companies working with Google to bring out devices for Android One that we’ll be seeing sooner in our store shelves,

All three devices will have the same specs of course which typically features a 4.5-inch display, a Quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM and 4 GB storage space. Other features includes a 5 Megapixel main camera, 2 Megapixel camera on the front, 3G wireless connectivity and 1,700 mAh battery running Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the=box.
