Gear VR, Samsung’s VR headset for the Galaxy Note 4

So you want a full virtual reality experience? look further no more as Samsung partners with Oculus Rift to bring the virtual reality experience in mobile. Samsung uses its latest flagship phone the Galaxy Note 4 to pair with the Gear VR headset which comprises the lenses from Oculus VR to make wonders.

Users will need to place their Galaxy Note 4 in front of Gear VR where the large 5.7-inch QHD of the phablet works as the main screen. The headset consists of adjustable lenses where users who are either near-sighted or far-sighted can easily adjust the viewing distance according to their preferences on the fly.

This is a first Oculus Rift consumer device and surprisingly it works in collaboration with a Samsung mobile device. Though at this point the VR headset offers the basic functionality needed for a Virtual Reality experience, at least we now have the basics which will have more room for improvements in the next installment. That is, if the two company will continue what they have started.
