Samsung Galaxy S6 mini allegedly caught in the wild, expected to launch next month

Inevitably whether we like it or not, Samsung would eventually release a mini version of its popular flagship handset and this time, its Galaxy S6 turn to go through the same fate. Latest leak points to the Galaxy S6 mini which allegedly photoed live.

The more compact Galaxy S6 mini takes its design from the regular Galaxy S6  but in a smaller form. Like its bigger brother, the mini variant of the handset also comes with its microUSB, audio jack port and even its speaker grills around the same location as it is on the flagship. Its build is also comparable to the flagships all metal frame construction so we could expect a little premium treatment even with the affordable handset.

While these images looks pretty legit, it’s unfortunately a bit dark for us to closely examine on what’s with the new handset and while we could see a few promising features around these images, experts are more intrigue about what it hides on the back, we all know the Galaxy S6 comes with a non-removable battery, here we hope it’s the other way around but given the latest release that Samsung has in the market, we might be disappointed on this one as long as a replaceable battery is concern.

The Galaxy S6 mini is expected around next month and while the specs of the handset is not readily available at this time, rumors has it that it will sport a Snapdragon 808 with 2 GB of RAM, a 720p 4.7-inch sAMOLED display and a 15 Megapixel main camera as its main feat.
