We now have a confirmation regarding the 6GB RAM variant of the Galaxy Note7. During the recent launch event held in Seoul South Korea, Samsung’sMobile President Koh Dong-jin affirms the recent rumor of the unannounced variant saying that while they have announced a worldwide launch of the Galaxy Note7 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, it is also true that they’re also reviewing for an imminent rollout of the upgraded version of the Galaxy Note7 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage in order to compete with local manufacturers in China.
Though they haven’t confirm any possible international availability nor deny them, Samsung seems totake its marketing campaign for the specific variant of the handset to carriers and has studied to offer the same version of the handset to the international community and whether it would hurt customers in other regions as well especially that millions have already had there pre-order of the handset.
Currently, China’s smartphone market are jumping-in to the high-end segment with devices having high-capacity memory, that’s the main reason for the move.
The Galaxy Note7 have been launched in different parts of the world since it went official last week. Here in the Philippines, Samsung Mobile Philippines is set to launch the handset on August 20 with general availability on the same date.
