Galaxy A7 (2016) visits China’s TENAA with 3 GB RAM and a bit more heavier this time

Samsung isn’t too secretive when it comes to upcoming devices and it seems like the Korean tech giant is gearing up for the 2016 version of the Galaxy A7 which is one of the company’s line of devices that offers a seemingly premium grade devices with a little low on prices from the flagship ones. After its trip on AnTuTu and the recent Bluetooth certification, the Galaxy A7 2016 just visit TENAA and is now given the proper certification in China which only means that the handset could potentially go out officially in the next few moments.
With its TENAA certification granted, the listing also includes some of the specs and most of them are key ones for the upcoming handset. These specs aren’t really confirmed by Samsung, but the listing revealed that the Galaxy A7 with model number SM-A7100 features a phablet-sized OLED display at 5.5-inch and is driven by an octa-core processor running at 1.7 GHz. As an upgrade to the last years version, Samsung bumps the RAM for the handset to 3 GB and will include 16 GB of storage space.
Though it’s quite unclear what’s next for the Galaxy A7 (2016)’s camera department but rumors suggest that the upcoming handset would include either an 8 Megapixel camera or perhaps the much more reasonable 13 Megapixel sensor on the back. The front will undoubtedly stay with the current standards thus it includes a 5 Megapixel Selfie camera. It will be running Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) out of the box
Taking cues from the current flagship devices, the Galaxy A7 (2016) features a familiar face and weighs at about 155 grams and that’s a bit heavier from last years model and measures at 151.5 × 73.95 × 6.95 mm.
