Fuel Prices to Rise for the Sixth Straight Week Across the Philippines
Good day motorists! The weather in your area might be different from mine, but one thing remains the same: oil prices will continue to rise across the Philippines next week. This marks the sixth consecutive week of price increases, and there are still no signs of it slowing down.
According to industry experts, here are the estimated price adjustments for next week:
Diesel: Php 0.70 – 0.90 per liter increase
Kerosene: Php 0.70 – 0.90 per liter increase
Gasoline: Php 0.20 – 0.40 per liter increase
The reasons behind these hikes are largely the same as in previous weeks, compounded by shrinking crude oil and kerosene inventories in the United States and an overall tightening of global supply.
Oil companies are expected to announce the final price adjustments on Monday, which will then be implemented the following day (Tuesday).
