After two consecutive weeks of price rollbacks, early market trading this week took a sudden turn, signaling a potential oil price hike for next week.
According to experts, increased market demand, despite higher oil production from oil-producing countries contributed to the shift. However, late-week trading brought some positive movement, offering slight relief from what could have been a steeper increase.
Here are the projected oil price adjustments for next week:
- Diesel: Php 1.20 – 1.40 per liter increase
- Gasoline: Php 0.50 – 0.70 per liter increase
- Kerosene: Php 0.70 – 0.90 per liter increase
Please note that final price adjustments will be announced on Monday, with implementation set for the following day (Tuesday).
