Next week, gasoline prices are expected to rise once again, and it could be a significant oil price hike as experts review the results of recent international market trading. According to analysts, oil products especially diesel are expected to be hit hardest by the increase.
Diesel prices are projected to rise between 2.50 and 2.70 Pesos per liter, while kerosene may see an increase of around 1.90 to 2.10 Pesos per liter. Gasoline prices are also expected to go up, with an estimated hike ranging from 1.50 to 1.70 Pesos per liter.
The reasons remain consistent with the past few weeks, mainly due to concerns over new U.S. sanctions imposed on two Russian oil companies, which market analysts believe could tighten global oil supply.
