Fuel Prices Rise for 7th Straight Week; Gasoline Sees Biggest Increase

Oil prices have increased for the seventh straight week, with diesel once again leading the hike, followed by gasoline and kerosene.

The continued rise is largely driven by market concerns that Iran could potentially block the passage of oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, along with other lingering global factors that have been influencing prices in recent weeks.

Most oil companies in the country implemented the latest adjustments on Tuesday, with the following increases:

  • Diesel: Php 0.60 per liter
  • Kerosene: Php 0.60 per liter
  • Gasoline: Php 1.20 per liter
