Almost a week after Flipkart teased for a Nokia laptop, the Indian Online Marketplace has finally unveiled the new Nokia Purebook X14 laptop and as expected, these will be bound for the Indian market.
The new Nokia Purebook X14 is built around a 14-inch IPS LCD display with a standard 1920 x 1080 resolution and features a magnesium-aluminum alloy body weighing just 1.1kg or about 2.4lbs. What contributed to its featherweight build is the absence of an optical drive and relies on SSD for storage.
The laptop is powered by an Intel Core i5 10210U processor with an integrated Intel UHD graphics and comes with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD as standard.
Feature-wise, the new Nokia Purebook X14 includes an HD IR webcam that supports Windows Hello facial recognition. There’s a built-in stereo speakers and a dual microphones. For entertainment experience, the laptop supports Dolby ATMOS for headphones. The keyboard is backlit and has a 1.4mm of travel which is a nice thing to have and the touchpad supporting multi-gesture feature.
For connectivity, the laptop includes WiFi 802.11ac and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.1, Ethernet LAN and Wireless WAN. 2x USB 3.1, 1x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.1 Type C and a full-sized HDMI port.
The Nokia Purebook X14 comes with a 46.7WHr battery and is charge through a 65W charger with up to 8 hours of battery life and runs on Windows 10 Home Plus.
The new Nokia Purebook X14 is set to become available starting December 18 with a launch price of INR 59,990 or about $815. There’s no word for worldwide availability though.
