Facebook now lets you transfer all your pictures and videos to Google Photos service

Facebook now makes it easier to export contents from different platform with compliance to the new Data Transfer Project. The project we’ve mentioned is a collaboration between Apple, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Twitter that makes use of an open-source service-to-service data portability platform to share contents from different ecosystems.

Facebook has started the movement by allowing users to export their photos and videos from Facebook to the Google Photos service. As of now though, the new feature is offered for users from Ireland but should be available to the rest of the globe by 2020.
