We’ve already found out that Samsung will have to skip Android 5.0 Lollipop and instead will have to settle for the updated Android 5.0.1 Lollipop software upgrade for the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge and the LTE-A variant of the company’s flagship the Galaxy S5. We’ve already seen a number of videos showing these trio of devices running the Android 5.0 ever since the availability of what was then known as the Android L and until recently with the final build of Android 5.0 Lollipop. But just as we’ve thought of the update as getting ready for release, rumors started to linger which suggests Samsung’s recent plans of updates for these devices. To get a bit more confirming for the recently rumors, today we’ve just got a series of videos that showed these trios running not version 5.0 but version 5.0.1 of Android Lollipop.

Just be reminded though that the software as always is still at its early stages of adoption and that simply means that it’s currently not ready for primetime and that Samsung as to iron things out before they get released to consumers. It is also worth noting that the differences between version 5.0 and 5.0.1 of Android for the Galaxy devices are virtually none as the top user interface TouchWiz still looks the same, so does the Android itself which the differences are highly internal as the latest version only contains a number of bug fixes and system stability improvements.

These videos are coming from our friends at SamMobile which got a hold of these early software updates which are generality for testing purposes only. So first, let us take a look at the Galaxy Note 4 running Android 5.0.1.

Next is the Galaxy Note Edge running the new and update Android 5.0.1

Lastly, the newest variant of the company’s flagship, the Galaxy S5 LTE-A variant.
