Doogee Note60 W Previews at Canton Fair With an Unusual Wide Display
Doogee
Do you remember Doogee? The Chinese smartphone brand made a name for itself with affordable devices, and who could forget those catchy, high-pitched ringtones?
The company is still active in other markets, and its latest device, the Doogee Note60 W, has now been previewed at the 140th Canton Fair. One thing that immediately stands out is its design, which bears a resemblance to the Huawei Pura X View.
The Doogee Note60 W features a 6.38-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an unusual 5:3 aspect ratio. It measures 144.1mm tall and 87mm wide, giving it a noticeably wider profile than most conventional smartphones. Despite its relatively compact height, the device packs a 6,500mAh battery into an 8.4mm-thick body. It is also expected to ship with Android 17.

For now, Doogee has yet to reveal the Note60 W’s complete specifications, including details about its camera system. However, the camera module itself is already drawing attention for its resemblance to the one found on the Huawei Pura X View.
Given Doogee’s history of offering budget-friendly devices, the Note60 W could target the entry-level or midrange segment, although its final positioning will depend on its hardware and pricing. The “W” in its name may stand for “Wide,” a fitting description for a device that appears to embrace a different approach to smartphone design. We will have to wait for Doogee to share more details before drawing any firm conclusions.
