We have a new and upcoming game to look forward to. From the creator of highly addictive game Flappy Bird, Dong Nguyen will once again release a new game titled: Swing Copters with virtually having the same gameplay as it’s previously pulled out game from both iOS and Android app stores. From the controls and visual characteristics, Swing Copters is basically Flappy bird in every sense but this time, instead of going horizontally avoiding obstacles, the new game now goes vertically with a next treat of challenges that would fuel the addiction of the same concept.

Coming from Flappy Bird, the developer hasn’t change his styles either, Swing Copters features an 8bit world with a really simple controls, a simple tap is all you need to work into the game. Simply avoid any obstacle and make your way to the never-ending top. You’ll be working on a small heli which swings either on the left or right as it rises, your task it to get away with bars on either side by tapping the screen to swing your heli in the opposite direction. To add a little twist in the game, Swing Copters has added a swings hammers for an added challenges and frustrations, touching anything and you’ll end up dead, so it’s up to your kinetics and response. This new addition we believe, would really help the game build its throne when it becomes available on mobile platforms.

The game is expected to hit both iOS App Store and Google Play sometime next week but we’ve yet to confirm this information. But one thing is definite at this point, the game will be free to download with an in-app purchase of 99 cents if you want a clean game experience, that is without the frequently cycling, unobtrusive ads in the game.

To help you understand and get yourself excited for Swing Copters, TouchArcade provides an early look of the game, how the game would look like and how the gameplay would be in the video below.
