We’ve heard it on social media with individuals claiming to know the people behind the so called “Fabunan Viral Injection” that is said to be effective against the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
While the Fabunan Viral Injection really exists, The Department of Health (DOH) has warned the public against the use of the said treatment for the COVID-19. DOH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire expressed that the said medicine is not registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the country and is required to pass clinical trials before it can be suitable for use.
The DOH undersecretary Vergerie also added that anyone caught using any medicines not approved by the DFA maybe liable in accordance with the law.
