There has been a slight misunderstanding in behalf of OnePlus and Cyanogen after OnePlus have announced that Cyanogen (the Primary driver of OnePlus One device) will ceased to support their recently launched OnePlus One device in India following Micromax announcement of Cyanogen exclusive rights for its YU line of Devices. Cyanogen now clarifies things and stated through their blog that they will continue to support all global devices and that will include the OnePlus One device.

From then on, users for the OnePlus One device including from India will need not to worry about being left alone with unsupported device as Cyanogen will not only support OnePlus One devices but also all other device powered by Cyanogen globally. The new arrived a week after OnePlus officially announced that One devices in India will have future updates to a non Cyanogen firmware when was later clarified by Cyanogen. Cyanogen has ink and agreement with Micromax to exclusively support its YU brand of devices only for the local market. It has been misunderstood on the side of OnePlus which caused the little troubled and now, since things have been clarified, its time for both company’s to work back together to bring more consumer device on the market as the OnePlus One proves to be a viable contender in a market that’s almost entirely enveloped by large corporations.

OnePlus One has been recently announced in India a few days ago and has been gaining some traction already. OnePlus Two is also making a rounds in the rumor mill and while users have been anticipating its arrival, they’ve hope to see Cyanogen to make a comeback for the future device and leave both company’s misunderstanding in the past.
