Cyanogen OS 12 for the OnePlus One device goes live via OTA update

After a total of two-weeks delay, Cyanogen finally released the Cyanogen OS 12 based on Lollipop for the OnePlus One device. As promised earlier, OnePlus founder Carl Pei announces that the latest OS update will be available to all supported OnePlus One devices.

With the latest release, Cyanogen has brought all the goodies from Android 5.0 Lollipop including the latest Material design elements which further makes the Cyanogen OS 12 more appealing and beautiful that ever before. Along with the new update is Cyanogen’s new theming support which also allow users to apply them aesthetics on every supported individual apps available. Cyanogen has a selection of both free and paid themes for their new App Themer that further allows a more personal touch and uniqueness of every device.

It also brings the new Cyanogen Mail app, powered by Boxer and this premium email client is included to all Cyanogen OS users. It comes with features like MS Exchange support, multiple account integration and canned responses for quick replies. Custom LED notification for email messages and a number of gesture support for the new mail app.
