The Department of Health (DOH) issued COVID-19 Bulletin No. 180 on September 10, 2020. This bulletin reports 3,821 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.
With this number together with yesterday’s figure, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country is now at 248,947 with a Death toll of 4,066 after 80 new reported deaths were added.
This bulletin also reports 563 new recoveries which makes our total number of recoveries to 186,058.
With these figures calculated, the Philippines now has a total of 58,823 active COVID-19 cases on record. More info about this Bulletin is detailed in the infographic down below:
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 as a Pandemic on March 03, 2020 which started in Wuhan, China. The disease is caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome – coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2) with a Flu like symptoms such as Fever, Cough, Colds and in more severe cases Difficulty in Breathing.
