Cherry Mobile launches two new Windows Phone 8.1 handsets with the new Alpha Neon and Alpha View

Announced last month at the 2015 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Spain, Cherry Mobile finally launches the two new Alpha series handsets with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. Both devices are in collaboration with Microsoft to bring a more affordable smartphone devices in the market thus, the new Alpha series handsets are both launched within a sub-5,000 Php price tag.

The new Windows Phone 8.1 based handsets comes with the latest features from Microsoft including the new Action Center, Folders on Start screen, Start screen background images, new XBox apps. There’s also the new built-in Word Flow keyboard, improved camera, improved web browser, an increasing population of app right from the Windows Phone store and much more.

While there are some differences between the two devices, however they share the same features such as the 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of built-in storage, 8 Megapixel main camera and 2 Megapixel camera on the front. It also has a dual-SIM capabilities and supports 3G/HSPA+ and 2G/GSM wireless network, of course they both run Windows Phone 8.1.
