If you’re a BPI account holder and uses either mobile or its online features then you’ll be in for a surprise as beginning today, June 1st it will start to charge some of selected features.
Fund transfers to other banks thru InstaPay will now be charged at 50Php per transaction. Transfers to unenrolled third-party accounts would cost 10Php except via QR Code while transfers to unenrolled accounts stays free for a limited period.
Transfers to own and enrolled accounts though are still free of charge and for Dollar to Peso transfer which will be available on the app and online banking soon.
As these new policies start to take effect today, BPI advises its clients to enroll third-party accounts of up to 99 accounts to enjoy cost-less transfer transactions.
