Asus is quite successful doing it’s business in the smartphone market with its Zenfone line and to expand the Zenfone line even further, the Taiwanese company is set to unveil the next generation Zenfone devices on the 30th of May 2016.
Dubbed the “Zenvolution”, Asus is expected to launched an array of Zenfone 3 smartphone devices and even though it is yet to be confirmed, Asus is also expected other Zen-branded devices including the following alleged devices: ZenPad tablets, ZenBook notebooks, there might also be a new ZenWatch in the event. There were also rumors that Asus is working on a virtual reality headset which might as well get introduced during the event as the ZenVR.
From the teaser, the next generation Zenfone devices could be different from the current generation Zenfone devices, design and build is one of the key differences that is expected for the upcoming devices but it seems the changes isn’t just stopping there,as there could also be a revolution in its imaging tech as the page seem to depict a camera module in the background which suggestively implies that Zenfone 3 would be coming with a better imaging sensor or perhaps a whole new visual experience in a 3D environment.
The source page itself is already counting down until the event date that is a couple of weeks more from now. Apart from the Asus logo, there is also the prominent Intel logo beside it which signifies Intel’s dominance on the upcoming Zenfone 3 devices. However, there are speculations that apart from the smartphones that is expected to launched this month, those rumored Zen-branded tablets and notebooks could also be part of Asus arsenal with an Intel inside logo on them.
We’ve already had a few information about the Zenfone 3 devices with one of them having a full-metal chassis as well as a sandwich glass with a metal frame in between. Of course as a standard of keeping up to date with the latest, Zenfone 3 devices will be running Android 6.x (Marshmallow) out of the box.
