Asus is currently stepping up its business in the mobile market by releasing a handful of smartphone devices that are equally high in performance and features while keeping its prices significantly affordable. That’s how the Zenfone line of devices got its name peg into the smartphone market and recently the company just updated its entire line-up with the latest technologies and stuff which were only available to high-end devices of other competing brands.

The top of the line Zenfone 2 Deluxe which was announced a couple of weeks ago is undoubtedly the Asus Zenfone 2’s flagship device which comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display and is powered by a Quad-core Intel Atom chip. Making the device more desirable is the hefty 4 GB of system RAM on board and some large storage space.

Speaking of storage space, Asus is seemingly unsatisfied with its current offering of either 64 GB or a plentiful of 128 GB of internal storage that Asus revealed that the highly anticipated Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe will also be available in a special edition variant and packs a whopping 256 GB of storage. This would make the Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition as the first ever to come with that massive storage space this year. Also, if still that doesn’t cover all your storage needs on the smartphone, the handset too does have a microSD card slot where you can just pop-in up to 128 GB microSD card and fulfill your day.

The handset is driven by the new Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with Asus Zen UI on top, juicing the device is the large 3000 mAh battery embedded into the handset. While its innards were a feast of high-end components, users are also treated with a nicely crafted minimalistic body with a head-turning, trendy polygonal patterns on the backplate that really changes the way you look at Asus smartphones.
The Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition was introduced in Brazil, but the company haven’t made any official statement for a worldwide release but looking at how the Zenfone 2 has done in the international markets, it would be most likely that the special edition handset would make its way to other countries as well.
