Evolution in display technology is currently setting the trend in China as home-grown company’s are pursuing the bezelless screens in the mobile market. We already have the ZTE Nubia Z9 which does just that and also the upcoming R7 from Oppo. Both devices were leaked recently featuring the bezel less displays and is said to come out pretty soon.
We’ve already seen some earlier leaked images and even a video showing the bezel less screen, but as new images has emerged which further depicts the truly vibrant and beautiful bezelless display that the Oppo R7 has. Though unconfirmed, Oppo might have implemented its patented tech from last year to create a virtually zero bezel display for the new handset. As the pictures and images suggests, the Oppo R7 could be also be following the footsteps of Oppo’s line of devices with thin profiles which made the handset the most anticipated one not only in Asia but also to other regions where the handset is expected to become available also.
Though the images are circulated on the internet like your daily newspaper, unfortunately the leak didn’t come with specs that everyone are waiting for. But if we refer to the previous leaks that we have, the Oppo R7 should carry a MediaTek MT6795 SoC, as well as a 20.7 Megapixel main camera and 4G/LTE support. We’ve also presume that it will be running Oppo’s latest ColorOS and probably be based on Android 5.x.
At this point, The alleged Oppo R7 really doesn’t have an official name yet, it could really be an R7 as its official model name or it could be something else, that could be a possibility but Oppo has the final answer to the matter.
