Acer Iconia W4 Windows tablet readies itself for early 2014 release
Acer is prepping the new windows 8 tablet in the market. The new Acer Iconia W4 is an 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablet with IPS display running at 1280 x 800 resolutions with Zero Air Gap touch.
Powered by Intel’s Baytrail Z3740 processor and sporting a Generation 7 Intel HD graphics. 2GB of RAM with 64GB of on-board storage. A set of ports is also included with W3 which includes a microUSB for charging, microSD slot for memory expansion, mic in, headphone jack and a microHDMI out port which proves to be practical at this point.
for connectivity, Iconia W4 includes WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, also inside is an accelerometer, built-in mic and a 2 MegaPixel front camera and 5 MegaPixel on the back.
According to reports, the new Acer Iconia W4 will go on sale towards the end of January 2014 with an estimated price of $379.00 USD. After its release, a smaller capacity is expected to follow which is reportedly to be having a 32GB storage with a smaller price too which is a great deal.
