Looks like rumors are true regarding the 6GB RAM variant of the Galaxy Note7 though Samsung haven’t mentioned the said variant from its recently concluded 7UNPacked event in New York further evidence of the said model may become available in the China soon as it recently got certified from Chinese regulator TENAA.

With international variant having 4GB of RAM, the rumored China exclusive model is said to fill the long-time rumored 6GB RAM variant of the Galaxy Note7, not only that, the same said version with sport a whopping 128 GB of internal storage space.

From what we’ve heard from a number of sources, the upgraded version of the handset is aimed to compete with China-based company who works and move on the same market segment as the Galaxy Note series. Do note that most of Chinese-based flagship devices now have 6GB of RAM in them and that’s what Samsung is going to topple with.

As for the price, the 6GB variant of the handset is set to cost CNY 6,088 or $914 when converted. Comparing them with the regular Galaxy Note7 with 4GB RAM that cost CNY 5,688 or $855, there’s a less than $100 difference between the two which make sense considering the significant upgrade of the handset.
