Next week, Xiaomi will be announcing the new Mi Note 2 and from what we’ve heard from various sources, the upcoming Mi Note 2 devices will be the company’s most expensive device yet when it launches. Just check the image above, this image is said to be a leaked piece of Xiaomi’s presentation slides which shows one of the device’s price. While that seem to hold true, we’ll all have to understand that Xiaomi will not be focusing on a single device for the series alone since it has been speculated that Xiaomi will be announcing two Mi Note 2 devices with two different configurations.
With two configurations, Xiaomi’s Mi Note 2 will definitely come with Snapdragon 821, the latest Qualcomm chipset but their big differentiation will play with their RAM and storage capacities, one Mi Note 2 variant will sport a4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage in which at this point would be the cheaper option while the premium variant with an alleged price of CNY 5699 as the image we see above is said to sport an even more RAM at 6 GB and either 128 GB or even 256 GB internal storage which we are yet to confirm.
The two variants will also differ in their displays as the regular variant will be available in 1080p while the premium model will feature QHD display. Both variants though settles on 5.7-inch AMOLED display in which in today’s standards as one of the best displays available in the market.
And another thing, while everyone were concerned about the internal specs of these devices, a new leaked suggests that the upcoming Mi Note 2 will ditch the bezels that usually graces smartphone devices since its inception. October 25th will be the date for Xiaomi’s unveiling and it will be much anticipated so stay tuned.
