After all the leaks and hints, Xiaomi finally unveils the Mi Mix in white. Presented by Xiaomi’s VP Hugo Barra at CES 2017, describes the new Mi Mix variant as having a pearl-like finish. Just like the Black variant, the new White color of the handset is still made from ceramic where the frame, back and the buttons are all made of white ceramic except for the more obvious and very enticing 6.4-inch display.

Everything about the Mi Mix is still what the white variant has in the house. All the features are in place with its 91.3% screen-to-body ratio however this time, the bezels are more prominent and more profound which eliminates the notion of a bezel-less display. Despite the new color and perhaps a refreshed view about the handset, the white Mi Mix still delivers the same amount of user experience and the same unique form factor that might just be the next generation of smartphone design in the market.

Like its black sibling, the Mi Mix is still exclusive for the Chinese market but international customers should be able to grab one through online stores. While the handset is still considered as an affordable device in its home country, considering limited stocks and for the fact that the handset even today it’s still considered as a concept phones, when it leaves its shoreline, expect the prices to go up and even double when it goes elsewhere.
