As promised, Vivo launched its own version of display-first devices in the country earlier this week. The Vivo V7+ features a FullView display – the company’s first narrowed bezel display and an even more Selfie-centric approach in the imaging department.

The handset’s “FullView” display comes at 5.99-inch but hold on to your chairs as the next few words would astound you, with the large display, Vivo simply put a screen on the V7+ with a rather unexpected resolution at 1440 x 720, something that’s remarkably fascinating for a year with almost all of the handsets of today fairs up at a minimum of 1080p. Despite the unorthodox, the handset puts out a 18:9 aspect ratio for the pleasure of viewing.

Under the hood, the new Vivo V7+ ticks a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 and paired to a 4GB RAM. Storage space comes at 64GB as standard and only option plus a dedicated memory expansion slot through the hybrid multi-card tray that takes up to 256GB microSD cards.

For photography, the new Vivo V7+ still has a single imaging sensor from either front or back but these sensors though comes with high megapixel counts and should be fairly enough to the beating. At the back there’s a 16 Megapixel main camera with Phase Detection AF, an f/2.0 Aperture lens that’s coupled to Dual-LED flash.

Right on the front is a Selfie-centric sensor and is one of the main attraction of the handset besides the seemingly bezel less display with its 24 Megapixel sensor it also has an f/2.0 Aperture and features Moonlight Glow from the display to support Selfie shots done in low-light conditions.

The rest of the specs comes as standard including 4G/LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the back that takes care of the device security as well as on online purchases. The handset is driven Android 7.1 (Nougat) with FunTouch OS 3.2 on top. Taking care of the lights and everything is a 3225 mAh battery that’s non-removable.

Finally, the handset will be available in two different colors: Champagne Gold and Matte Black. The Vivo V7+ is priced in the Philippines at 17,990 and is open for pre-orders since September 21st up to the 29th at Lazada PH. Units will be available in Vivo stores, kiosk and retail store across the country by September 30.
