HTC is supposed to surprise everyone as the company was rumored to unveiled the Windows Phone 8.1 version of HTC’s One (M8) but Verizon may have spoiled the big unveiling as the wireless carrier leaked the image on its website.
Pocket-lint who found the above image on Verizon’s server has quickly grab the image which shows the One (M8) featuring the Windows Phone 8.1 start screen. As HTC officially announce the said device on August 9, 2014 in New York, we’ll expect Verizon will offer the new device as well.
The HTC One (M8) first came out as an Android device and since the leaked image and following a lot of rumors lately, we’d expect the Windows Phone variant will feature the same hardware specs as well.
The Android version HTC One (M8) features a Quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 2 GB RAM, 5-inch full-HD IPS display with 441 ppi pixel density underneath the Gorilla Glass 3 protected layer, a 5 Megapixel front camera and a Ultrapixel Dual camera setup as the main camera module on the back and a microSD card support for memory expansion.
As the Android version stands as a high-end device, we’ll also expect the Windows Phone variant will follow its standing as well.
