After a few months in the rumor mill, Samsung finally announced their latest over-sized tablet the new Galaxy View which is projected to deliver an unprecedented mobile entertainment through streaming of videos and other multimedia contents. Apart from its media-centric features, two of the best-selling points for the new Galaxy View and indeed will be one of its unique features would be its large full-HD display and a long-lasting battery life.

Positioned to compete within the All-in-One Android device market, the new Galaxy View comes with a very large 18.4-inch display with a full-HD resolution designed to take all your video contents into full view. It also includes a dedicated home screen which aggregates all your videos from different sources making it easier for users to access their digital content without digging through the system. It has a high-quality Stereo speakers for a rich and dynamic audio experience.

The system runs on 1.6 GHz octa-core processor with 2 GB of RAM and either 32 GB or 64 GB of built-in memory and supports a microSD card for memory for storage expansion. It also takes a nanoSIM for its LTE connectivity. Understandably as in most cases, the Galaxy View supports Wi-Fi connectivity as well as Bluetooth. It comes with a 2.1 Megapixel camera on the front that’s good for video calling or even take pictures of ourselves.

Keeping it up to cater almost all the user’s multimedia needs, the Galaxy View is powered by a 5700 mAh high-capacity and long-lasting battery which promises of up to 8 hours of video playback non-stop. It’s touchscreen display ensures easy access to content with a touch of a finger. The whole system is driven by Android 5.1 (Lollipop) which should give users the power to interact and communicate to other users and the system.

The Galaxy View weighs around 2.65 Kg and measures 275.8 x 11.9 x 451.8 mm and comes with a built-in 2-way kickstand so you could easily pop it out and place the Galaxy View on any surface and watch videos.
