One of the most secure device in the planet has just turned business focus into consumer focus as they relaunched the brand in October of 2016. As they sport a new ecosystem for their future devices, they introduced the DTEK50 a seemingly regular Android device but inside is Blackberry’s tried and tested robust security features. Just few months after DTEK50 entry in the market, the company launched the second generation Android device with DTEK60 a feature rich Android handset with a more refined features and a mature stance.
It comes with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display and comes with a QHD resolution, under the hood is a Quadcore Snapdragon 820 along paired with Adreno 530 GPU and come with 4GB and 32GB of expandable storage. It supports microSD cards of up to 2TB. And for imaging, the handset includes a 21 Megapixel autofocus main camera at the back and 8 Megapixel Selfie camera, both capable of taking full HD videos but the main camera has more with 4K video recording capabilities.
Here in the Philippines, the handset has just been available in the local market thanks to MemoXpress. We could already see the DTEK60 from their store shelves with a price of 28,990. While most of the handsets today sport dual SIM capabilities, the DTEK60 lacks of it but instead refines itself with 4G/LTE connectivity support and of course their security features are just top-notch with fingerprint sensor. The DTEK60 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with 3000 mAh of battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support with USB-C.
