Going with the extremes, Samsung unveiled a set of new generation of microSD cards under the Pro and Evo series. the new memory cards comes in 128 GB capacities and is one of the fastest memory cards that Samsung is able to produce to date.

A real upgrade in the series, the doubled memory capacity is Samsung’s most spacious removable media today and is even more faster that its previous generation especially with the latest Evo+ and Pro+ variants where data rates can go theoretically at 95 MB/s of write speed and 90 MB/s of read speeds. With today’s modern gadgets, these new cards should fit perfectly with smartphones and cameras with 4K video recording capabilities.

Apart from the large memory space, the new Evo+ and Pro+ cards can also handle extreme environmental conditions including extreme temperatures, water and even X-Rays. With these features, you’ll feel secure and confident that your data and memories are kept intact, these features will also make the number one selling point of these memory cards.

As express by our sources, the irony of these new cards are pretty evident when Samsung is the number one microSD card manufacturer in the market but can’t even use these cards with their flagship smartphone devices because they missed out the built-in microSD card slot of those devices. However if recent rumors are true, the upcoming Galaxy S7 flagship device should be able to handle these cards easily as it is said that the Galaxy S7 will bring back the microSD slot that Samsung omitted with their 2015 flagship models.

With its spacious size, it’s 199.99 price tag is also large enough for users to make a second thought of getting these memory cards as of the moment.
