Samsung Galaxy devices comes with its own unique user interface which commonly known as TouchWiz UI or the latest one with Grace UX. For years, Samsung UI icons seems to be a bit outdated from what Google has in store for Android that fits entirely with the latest Material design UI experience. But with the coming of the Galaxy S8 this year, Samsung will be updating its major stock icons with a whole new and minimalistic design.
If you are a minimalist lover then Samsung’s own version of a flat and simple icon designs delights you with outlines that forms the shape of an object that icons represents. The icons are unique though falls short when they go around with default Google and third-party apps icons with elaborated figures, if you are particular with the looks and icon set of your handsets, then you should be able to understand what I mean.
These new icons came from the apk file of the latest Samsung Smart Switch app which is by the way is updated to support the upcoming Galaxy S8 flagship device, they are not in high quality though but you’ll get the idea of what to expect with the Galaxy S8 interface when they would finally go out next month.
Just a recap: The Samsung Galaxy S8 is set to be unveiled this coming March 29 at Samsung UNPacked event, so stay tuned for more updates.
