The Philippine government ensures its services are accessible by everyone with the launch of the new National Government Portal of the Philippines www.gov,ph by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
The website, which I’ve heard from a radio report interest not only me or the Filipino people for the foreign tourist as well as it provides information about the government and its services. It’s comes with an aggregation of links which redirects to different departments and institutions of the Philippine government.
It provides a one stop shop for everything you need, from clearances, business permits, certificates and ID’s, educational programs, job opening and opportunities, housing programs, health and social services, disaster information and of course a link to assistance and complaints.
The website is currently in beta but could readily provide these services as of late. It comes with an intuitive interface which allows us to search for anything through a search engine like interface which we could use to download and extract public documents or get through other services from the search results.
