Probably the most popular version of the Mate series to date, the latest Mate 9 from Huawei takes productivity and imaging task together with the inclusion of its popular Leica branded dual-camera concept into the series, this made the new Mate 9 a highly capable imaging device next to its flagship handset the P9 and P9 Plus.
The handset was unveiled last November 2016 and has been available in other market soon after. Here in the Philippines, Huawei has just officially made the handset available in the country. The Mate 9 may be a potential opponent of the now demise Samsung Galaxy Note7 if not for its issues.
At 5.9-inch, the Huawei Mate 9 is a pretty huge phablet but thanks to its edge to edge design, the handset maintains a low footprint. Added to that, it also sport the popular Leica dual-camera module on the back with every sensor specializing with its own feature. One is a regular RGB sensor while the other is in Monochrome. With this capabilities and with the help of its built-in software, Huawei is able to combine both images from the sensor to produce a more lively images.
