We’ve recently have the LG V20 released locally last week and it was warmly welcomed by our local customers and even more to be considered as a potential alternative to the discontinuedSamsung Galaxy Note7. But the V20 missed a specific feature that the Note7 has, waterproofing, though the LG V20 comes with MIL-STD-810 for toughness, it’s still has no power over water.
The Korean firm now released the LG V34 in Japan which they call it “isai Beat” and it’s the V20 only that it is more compact and features an IP67 certification for dust and water proofing. But like it has been said, the handset was only launched in Japan, meaning none of us will get a hold of this device, unless someone could get one from Japan.
Like its V20 cousin, the V34 keeps almost every V20 has like the always on display secondary screen, fingerprint sensor, the dual sensor main camera, dual-FoV front camera, Quad-DAC, B&O branding for audio, Android 7.0 Nougat and the Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 3000 mAh battery. What’s change here though besides the one mentioned earlier is the smaller 5.2-inch display compared to V20’s 5.7-inch.
Having been released as Japan exclusive, the LG V34 comes with a Japanese specific features like the WiMAX 2+ and Mobile TV through 1seg and ISDB-T.
LG will officially launched the handset in Japan by Mid-November and will be available in Titanium and Gold.
