Lenovo P70 packing 5-inch display, Octa-Core CPU and 4000 mAh battery officially launch in the Philippines

Have you been into a situation that your device battery went down before the day ends? well, I think everyone have or had experienced it once as long as we use a smartphone these days. Lenovo however found a way to alleviate the situation with the launch of the new mid-ranger Android device the P70. Launched Yesterday in China, the handset packs a large 4000 mAh capacity battery that should stay alive more than you could with it in a day. And just a day after, its Philippine wing also announced the said handset locally along with the standard retail price for the upcoming handset.

The Lenovo P70 packs a known mid-range specs with a 5-inch IPS LCD display with HD resolution. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a modest but capable 64-bit SoC from MediaTek with model MT6752 running at Quad-core 1.7 GHz processor. Also, there’s Mali T760-MP2 to handle its graphics needs, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage that can easily be expanded with the help of micro-SD cards which the handset supports up to 32 GB capacities.

The handset is equipped with  13-Megapixel main camera on the back with Autofocus and LED Flash to assist users for high-quality and well lit shots. On the front is also a more than capable 5-Megapixel camera which should do more than enough for high quality video calls and a favorable quality selfies.

For connectivity, The new Lenovo P70 comes equipped with 4G-LTE connection with 3G/HSPA+ and 2G/GSM. Other options includes; Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with GPS-assist, USB 2.0 with OTG support.

Measures at 71.8 x 142 x 8.9 mm, the new Lenovo P70 as we’ve already known packs a large 4000 mAh battery and weighs only 149 grams. The new mid-range handset will run Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box.

With Lenovo bringing the power rich handset in the Philippines, the firm priced the new P70 handset at 11,999.00 Php and will be available to our local retail stores starting next month.
