We’ve always hit the right details when delivering leaked information about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note2 however the pricing seems to go out of the charts when it was believed that the upcoming handset will be priced at a premium. The latest leaks however says otherwise and that the upcoming handset will still be at an affordable price range.
The handset is anticipated to become official on Tuesday next week and is expected to come with the latest technologies onboard. The handset will featurea 5.7-inch AMOLED display where it is rumored to be curved similar to the Samsung edge devices but according to the latest leak, the AMOLED panels are produced by LG. The screen will feature Force Touch and below the device is an ultrasonic fingerprint reader similar to the recently announced Xiaomi Mi 5s plus a secondary biometric scanner and a first for a Xiaomi device of an iris scanner.
Under the hood will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor coupled to either 4GB or 6GB RAM and a choice of either 64GB or 128 GB of UFS 2.0 internal storage, there were also rumors that it might also include a third variant that will sport a 256GB storage, that remains to be seen and could be proven or not in the next few days.
To push up its position in the mobile market, Xiaomi is rides in the trend of dual sensor phones and the Mi Note 2 is one of them. The main camera module will house a 23 Megapixel Sony IMX318 sensor and a IMX378 of 12 Megapixel. On the front is a fairly basic 8 Megapixel shooter but that shouldn’t be bad at all as it is alreadyenough to take Selfies and engage in hi-res video calls.
With so many built-in features inside this technological powerhouse, it needs enough juice to stay atop of everything and Xiaomi will provide the handset with a whopping 4100 mAh battery for all our power needs. It will also support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 specification along with the USB Type-C support for optimum fast charging as well as high-speed data transfers.
