Intel Compute Stick now available in the Philippines for only 7,999 Php

Imagine a computer that could fit inside your pocket. well, that’s what Intel brings with their new Compute Stick, a very portable personal computer that takes the size of a USB flash drive where you could insert it to any compatible display that supports HDMI interface.

The Intel Compute Stick is a full-fledged computer device that packs a full-blown Windows 8.1 operating system complete with Intel ATOM processor inside paired with a dedicated RAM, built-in storage, memory expansion slot and a standard USB 2.0 port. The Compute Stick was unveiled earlier this year and after 6 months of waiting, the device has finally arrived in the Philippines and is currently available in selected computer shops nationwide.

While the one currently available is the Windows version, Intel is also set release a Linux variant of the stick with a few more difference in its hardware configuration but still a highly capable piece of device which could turn a Monitor or HDMI equipped Television into a fully working computer system that when it goes with keyboard and mouse would gives users a full computing experience.
