Currently, it’s obvious that it’s widely debatable whether Huawei would continue to push the company’s flagship device naming convention a digit at a time or move all the way forward to P20 where the current Huawei’s flagship is the P10.
One thing’s for sure though, the flagship device would rethink itself in a way of the same fate as the Huawei Mate 10 series. Right now, rumors suggests that the P11/P20 would potential take the P20 name and that Huawei is all ready to unveil the next flagship later in March.
The next Huawei flagship will be available in three variants according to rumors and that will include the base/regular model, a Plus and a Lite variant. It will have mainly an 18:9 Aspect ratio display for the first two main models while the Lite will obviously will include a standard smartphone display configuration.
The main attraction of Huawei’s next flagship won’t be the display as the company already did something like it with the Mate 10 series and other mid-range devices but it has to be what’s on the back. The mate 10’s back design deserves special credits for a well made design however it’s not the design that the next Huawei flagship is most intriguing with but the camera modules itself. from what has been leaked so far, the company’s next flagship will have not just two camera modules on the back but three and that will sport an almost the same
Related to rumors and speculations, case makers are making smartphone case designs that follows the same designed language as the recent render leaks. It looks to have a very familiar element to it that reminds us about Apple’s iPhone X camera module. Besides that, the larger and probably the Plus variant of the handset will even employ the same display notch as the iPhone X that will include its front facing camera and a number of sensors in it.
