We’ve been curious as to how the Huawei Mate 10 would look like, speculation and rumors fills the air as we inch closer to the highly anticipated unveil sometime this month. But that curiosity of our may be over, at least for one specific variant of the handset.
Courtesy of Evan Blass, this could be the first official render of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro and it’s big. On the front is what Huawei calls a “FullView” display and this should be an 18:9 screen at the very least with that prominent narrowed bezels.
On the back, there’s a new approach to its color scheme, there’s black, blue and a brown color option. And then there’s the strip where the two-sensor camera module sits with its noticeable Leica branding and a f/1.6 Aperture indication for the main camera. This part seems to covered in glass with a patterned design underneath. While below the camera module is where the fingerprint sensor is.
The Huawei Mate 10 is expected to debut on October 16 and the lineup isn’t just one but four devices as rumors suggests. As the one pictured here is said to be the Mate 10 Pro. We could also expect another Porsche variant of the handset together with a regular Mate 10 on the same date and a Mate 10 Lite probably soon after.
And then, there’s that information about the upcoming Kirin 970 chip which will debut with the Huawei Mato 10 and that the chipset is said to fully support 32-bit Audio through its USB-C interface. This could mean that the Mate 10 would ditch the 3.5mm audio jack in favor of its more capable interface.
