HTC One (M7) Dual-SIM variant starts receiving Lollipop update in India

Though it’s still unconfirmed whether this update rollout is hitting worldwide or still varies from region-to-region which is fortunately available now in India. With the update rolling out, HTC finally brought Android 5.0 Lollipop to the dual-SIM variant of 2013’s flagship handset. If you could remember, the regular single-SIM variant of the HTC One (M7) got its taste of Lollipop back in March while the company just announced a week ago the both the HTC One mini and the mini 2 would be able to upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop for some reasons.

The update is now available for download with 675 MB in size. After installing the update, note that your handset now has version 7.117.720.6 which is really the new HTC Sense 7 UI on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop. Units set to check for updates automatically maybe able to have the update ready for download or users could manually check for updates by going through : Settings > System Updates > HTC Software Update > then tap check now.
