The Nokia 6 still isn’t available global and so does the Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 but as early as this time, HMD Global, the company behind the new Nokia devices confirmed its plans to support Android O for these mentioned devices. This information is seen as HMD’s dedication to support its campaign to upgrade Nokia devices to the latest version of Android possible for specific handsets.
Android O on the other hand hasn’t been around yet (at least publicly) as Google still refines the mobile operating system for the market. The next version of Android is expected around the third quarter of the year and Nokia devices are then expected to get the new version of Android after that.
Though deployment of the new operating system to a Nokia device may not be as swift as Google’s own devices, we could rest assured that it will have it supported in time.
