Fujitsu announces world’s first Iris scanner equipped Arrows NX F-04G

Biometric scanners are becoming more common in today’s mobile phone devices. While the world celebrates the arrival of fingerprint scanning technology, the top technology-enriched part of the world Japan that is, has its first iris scanner enabled smartphone device from Fujitsu with the company’s latest Arrows NX F-04G smartphone devices. NTT DoCoMo in Japan will offer the new Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G for an equivalent of US$ 750.00 off-contract.

Fujitsu’s Arrows NX F-04G is the worlds first smartphone device with Iris scanner with the company’s Iris Passport feature. Like the fingerprint scanner of today’s devices which reads the patterns of our fingers, the iris of the human eye also feature a pattern which are unique to every individual and is one of the key elements that an iris scanner tackles by reading those patterns, it will allow the new Arrows NX f-04G to unlock the device, and access websites and even your password protected apps just by looking at the screen or practically at the iris scanner which is by the way situated at the top of the display.

It is also comes with fastest wireless connection technology to date with LTE-Advanced and the world’s first TransferJet technology which works almost the same way as NFC that requires to be enabled and is in close proximity with other TransferJet enabled devices. The technology allows users to send and receive data at faster speeds with bandwidths that theoretically tops at 375Mbps. And for mobile photography and selfie-centric customers, the Arrows NX f-04G offers a top-notch Sony EXMOR RS mobile camera  with a 21.5 Megapixel CMOS sensor for the most beautiful photos with high-speed auto focus so users can easily point and take pictures with moving objects with higher accuracy and quality in every shot.

The Fujitsu Arrows NX F-04G is an aluminum metal clad device with diamond cut corners for an exquisite premium hardware and design. It is now available in Japan through NTT DoCoMo at $US750 SIM-free and comes either in Iris Green, Black or White. Despite a potential market outside of Japan, Fujitsu still haven’t announced any possible international release at this point.
