Users of Cherry Mobile Alpha smartphones should be delighted to know that the local mobile phone company is rolling out a Windows Phone 8.1 update to both the Alpha Luxe and the Alpha Style Windows Phone devices with a number of new features and bug fixes included in the update.

Some of the features already exist on other Windows Phone based devices especially with Nokia/Microsoft in-house devices including Live folders, IE improvements, battery life improvements and support for Qualcomm QuickCharge 2.0.

The update is now up and available for download to all Alpha Luxe and Alpha Style users. This is part of the continuing support for Windows Phone devices irregardless of what manufacturer and brand the units are and that offers the latest feature available for Windows Phone users without leaving them behind.

Check out below the list of new features that the update is bringing to the Cherry mobile devices based on Windows Phone.
