Asus is doing fairly well with its latest Zenfone series, one particular model has captured our attention and that is the Zenfone 5 which fits just right to the hand. While the Zenfone 5 is currently selling in the market, some users are still wondering if Asus could release a Zenfone device that’s not to small as the Zenfone 4 but may have the dimensions of the Zenfone 5 with nearly the Zenfone 4 price. Asus now answered our prayer and is ready to pull out the new Zenfone 5 Lite which is expected to launch anytime soon.
The teaser image doesn’t have much information regarding the upcoming handset with just the prominent tagline “See what others can’t see in a whole new lite”, it’s fairly easy for us to say that the Zenfone 5 Lite will still carry an Intel Atom processor inside the handset but well expect less RAM for this model.
The new Zenfone 5 as expected with model number A502CG is a toned-down version of Asus Zenfone 5 which features the same display size but comes with lowered specs underneath its skin. In the market, the Asus Zenfone 5 8GB variant is priced at more or less 5.5K and less than 6K for the 16GB variant. As we follow the market trends, we’ll expect the Zenfone 5 Lite to be priced much lesser than it’s older but more powerful brother.

As we can see here, when compared to the full version of Zenfone 5, the Zenfone 5 Lite does have minor changes. But as long as you’re not a graphic intensive, mobile geek or perhaps just a little more concern of the specs type of person, then the Zenfone 5 Lite will surely fit your daily needs. Given the minor readjustment of components inside the handset and the expected lower price tag, their differences would be that significant to you at all.
